Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Friday afternoon. Service was ok. Food was not that great. We did not have any drinks. Upon receiving our bill, we were told that we had to tip at least 15%, and the waitress proceeded to grab a calculator and check how much that would be. I don't have a problem tipping for good service/food/ambiance, but I do have a problem being told how much to tip.

Good food and a location with indoor and outdoor seating that can't be beat. An amazing venue that was unfortunately ruined by horrible service. After 15 mins, still no menu. Took 30 mins to get a drink and one hour to get lunch. I assume the Canadian lunch experience is less rushed than in the US, but come on. I'd give it another in case they were short staffed on this particular day.

We showed up last night at 8:40 pm and what was our surprise to be told that the kitchen was closed at that time !!!!! We answer "see it's Friday" the answer was "it's not yet the season" very strong ... very very strong 😠

On a quiet Sunday afternoon, the service was terribly slow and our waitress lacking of any facial expression or even eye contact. The food was OK without being impressive (we had fries and paninis), but my cocktail was so weak I could not have tasted the difference between that and water-diluted juice. Overall portions worth the price considering the sights (magnificent view on the Fleuve St-Laurent). Overall OK experience, but only because it was a beautiful day. Would not recommend.

The worst restaurant experience in a long time. The products are not fresh and the cleanliness of the restaurant leaves something to be desired. I had a chicken ceasar salad without the chicken or bacon and had to pay the same price. Not to mention that I had to clean in this one because of doubtful freshness. Serious invest your money elsewhere! $ 21.95 for a salad is way too expensive!

In my opinion this is a restaurant with great potential but unfortunately everything suggests that it is very poorly managed, the restaurant is dusty and the floors are dirty and I do not even speak leatherette chairs tear off its very low No matter what, the food lacks freshness for the price is exorbitant dishes, the service, our waitress looked extremely frustrated she did not seem to like her job that, no smile from him and a very long service despite the fact that there were not many people in the restaurant, we wondered why the restaurant always seemed empty while the rest of the restaurants on the rue des Forges was full! Out of curiosity we tried and understood why the restaurant had a bad reputation in the city center. The property is so good there is a lot of potential but it's a shame. Wonderful restaurant! Affordable price, wine at SAQ price. Seen breathtaking on the river. The quality of service and food is beyond reproach. We were looking forward to it reopening in the spring. Definitely 5 stars ....

Had a wonderful experience! The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Friendly staff! Also wine is very affordable there as they only charge SAC prices! Located near the water and historic district. A must try!!
